Johannes Hauser

After studying business in Innsbruck, Johannes worked as International Sales Consultant at Acorn Computers Ltd in Cambridge, UK. After Acorn's successful IPO, Johannes supported Hermann in building a start-up portfolio in the Cambridge area in cooperation with English VCs. After returning to Austria, Johannes served as Regional Manager Export North/South America at Biochemie (Novartis) in Kundl, Austria. Subsequently he held the position of authorized signatory (Prokurist) and head of asset management at Alpenbank AG in Innsbruck, including some successful placements of holdings from Hermann's/Amadeus portfolio in the DACH region, which was unusual for a private bank at the time. In 1991 Johannes founded, with a partner, the asset management firm Nova Portfolio Finanzstrategien GmbH, with a focus on traded English life insurance policies as an investment asset.
