Jon Healy

About

Jon is a Principal at Equal Ventures where he focuses on investments across the firm’s core verticals. He focuses on startups at the intersection of physical and digital industries, with a particular interest in AI applications in manufacturing, supply chain, energy, and mobility. Before joining Equal, Jon was a Vice President at Cathay Innovation, he has been instrumental in sourcing and leading investments including David Energy and GenLogs, partnering closely with both founding teams as they scale. Jon was also previously was a Business Analyst at McKinsey, focusing on Private Equity and Aerospace & Defense, a Venture Analyst at FedTech (a deep tech venture builder), and began his career as a Materials Engineer at the U.S. Department of Defense’s Naval Surface Warfare Center. Jon holds a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering and an M.S. in Finance from Case Western Reserve University.
