Josh Zoffer

About

Josh is an investor and leads CIV's research efforts. He previously served as Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy at the White House and Senior Advisor to the Deputy Secretary of the Treasury. In these roles, he shaped a range of critical economic and national security policies focused on energy, trade, industrial policy, and macroeconomics. His prior investment experience includes venture and growth. Josh began his career at McKinsey & Company in New York. His writing on economics and technology has been published in the New York Times, Financial Times, Washington Post, and Foreign Affairs, among others. He holds an AB from Harvard University and a JD from Yale Law School.
