About

Kan Horikiri has over 15 years of international experience in transportation planning and mobility, supported by academic backgrounds in Civil Engineering in Japan and Transport and Sustainable Development in France. He has worked across Asia, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Latin America, covering a wide range of responsibilities from transport analysis and project management to business development. He has extensive experience working in multicultural environments in Japanese, English, French, and Spanish. Based in Panama for four years, Kan worked on transportation infrastructure and public transport projects across Latin America and the Caribbean. He later joined a Japanese public transport operator, where he contributed to productivity improvement initiatives, digital transformation, and the development of new mobility businesses. In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, he led the establishment of a local operating company and drove the development of EV-based mobility services
