About
Khatereh Ahmadi brings over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, combining large-pharma and biotech start-up expertise. In her ten years at MSD, she served as Head of Search and Evaluation, Business Development Europe for five years, after leading oncology business development. She previously co-founded and was CEO of reViral Ltd, an antiviral biotech acquired by Pfizer, where she secured a $21 m Series A with investors including Andera Partners and Orbimed. Earlier, she helped found Piramed Ltd, leading business development and its licensing deal with Genentech followed by acquisition by Roche. Khatereh has also been a consultant to a number of companies in the EU and the US in the field of oncology and has been an NED on the board of Guard Therapeutics, a public Swedish company, since May 2024. Dr. Ahmadii holds a PhD in Biochemistry from King’s College London, an MBA from Henley Management College.
