Laurence Girard is a healthcare entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Healthcare Shares. His interest in healthcare began while studying nutritional epidemiology and volunteering in an emergency room, where he saw firsthand the impact of preventable conditions such as type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
