Laurent is a founder-turned-investor with over a decade experience building, investing in, and advising venture-backed financial technology companies. He currently serves as Venture Partner at TX Ventures, where he focuses on the fund’s U.S. presence. Known for a founder-first mindset and hands-on approach in company building, he has a particular interest in payments infrastructure, marketplaces, and consumer business models. Prior to joining TX Ventures, Laurent co-founded and led Monito, a cross-border payments and banking comparison platform he scaled over 11 years to millions of monthly users and 130+ partnerships with financial institutions globally. He holds a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from ETH Zurich.
