Lior was the Co-Founder & CEO of Liquant Asset Management, an Israel based seeding platform for emerging quantitative hedge fund managers. Lior previously served as General Counsel, COO and acting-CEO of Lyxor Asset Management in New York, the alternative investment arm of Société Generale with $150bn of assets under management at the time. Prior to that, Lior practiced law with Sidley Austin in New York where he focused on M&A and alternative investments. He is a graduate of the Israeli Naval Academy and holds the rank of Captain (Ret.) in the Israeli Navy and is currently an active reservist.
