About
Lungile is a seasoned private equity professional who was an investment executive for 19 years at Metier Private Equity where she was responsible for deal origination, transaction implementation, post investment management and representing Metier on the boards and subcommittees of investee companies. She also served as director and treasurer of the South African Venture Capital and Association (SAVCA). Her post articles career began in structured finance, working at Wipcapital, a subsidiary of Wiphold. Lungile also worked at De Beers’ corporate finance division where she gained experience in debt raising, valuations and company restructurings before joining Metier Private Equity in 2005. She is currently a non-executive director of E Squared, Merchant West, Southey Holdings, Kaufman Levin & Associates (KLA) and Master Plastics.
