Mahesh leads Rebright’s investment strategy in India, driving the sourcing, evaluation, and growth of innovative startups across a range of sectors. Previously, Mahesh was a key member of the Sony Innovation Fund, where he spent over four years shaping the fund’s India portfolio with investments spanning fintech, healthcare, and emerging technologies. An alumnus of IIT Madras, Mahesh earned his master’s in computer engineering, specializing in Natural Language Processing. Outside the world of venture capital, Mahesh is an avid long-distance runner, an enthusiastic reader, and a keen badminton player.
