About
Mathias Schilling is co-founder and Managing Partner of e.ventures. He is currently responsible for the company’s investments in companies such as Angie’s List, AppFolio, Eucalyptus, Groupon, Shango, Sonos and Yume Networks. He began his career at Bertelsmann, Europe’s largest media company, where he worked on various mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, including Amazon, AOL Studios, Barnes & Noble.com and CompuServe. In 1997, he joined the founding team to create the venture capital firm BV Capital (now known as e.ventures), where he became Managing Partner in 2004.
