About
Matt Downs joined Sandbox Industries in 2004, a year after its founding, and is co-CEO and a Managing Partner of the firm. Matt is a member of the Board of Directors of Perspectum and Lumeris. He serves as a Board Observer of Somatus. Matt focuses on shaping the firm's culture and expanding into new industry sectors while overseeing the operational aspects of investment processes and capital deployment criteria across all Sandbox funds. Previously, Matt was a venture investor with Highland Capital Partners and began his career in Morgan Stanley's New York M&A group.
