Matt Gittleman serves as the Investment Director at JHH vc, where he leads early-stage investing for the firm’s family office. He is also a Venture Partner with Cape Fear Ventures and a co-founder of VC in DC, the region’s largest venture-capital community with 700+ members, where he helps connect investors, founders, and ecosystem partners across the DMV through high-impact events and programming. Before JHH vc, Matt spent four years at Blu Venture Investors, overseeing the firm’s cybersecurity investment pipeline and supporting portfolio companies as an advisor and board observer, primarily around fundraising and go-to-market strategy. Earlier, Matt worked with Core Capital Partners while earning his MBA at the Georgetown McDonough School of Business, and held marketing and operations roles at LivingSocial, Catalant Technologies, and Yesware.
