Matt Shapiro

About

Matt is a Partner and the Head of Investor Relations at Multicoin. He leads investor relations and capital formation for the firm, and is also a senior member on the investment team. He sources, evaluates, and executes investment opportunities, and guides strategic initiatives for the firm. Prior to joining Multicoin, Matt was a Vice President in the investment banking group at Teneo where he specialized in raising institutional capital around specific investment theses, management teams, and assets across a diverse range of industries. Matt holds a degree in Finance and International Business from the University of Maryland.
