About
Mengtian Kang, PhD in Ophthalmology, is a member of the Ophthalmology Committee of the China Association of Medical Equipment, a youth member of the Medical Artificial Intelligence Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, and an ophthalmologist at Beijing Tongren Hospital. Mainly responsible for the clinical evaluation of Ruimengxi (睿盟希) projects; main research areas are refractive errors and anterior segment diseases. Previously responsible for field epidemiological survey research, clinical trial management and the design of randomized controlled trials, and collaborated with the Institute of Biophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on functional research on the link between the eye and the brain. Completed the Harvard University Lancaster ophthalmologist training course in 2017. Published 7 SCI and core journal articles as first author, and participated in publishing 40 papers in total. Selected for the China Association for Science and Technology's "Young Talent Support Project" in 2019. Research results on myopia prevention and control technology and its application won the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Universities from the Ministry of Education of China.
