About
Michael Buchinger joined Rethink Ventures in 2024 as an Investment Associate. Prior to this, he worked at Allianz X, the digital investment arm of Allianz Group, where he focused on growth and late-stage investments in Insurtech and Fintech. Michael earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Management and Technology from the Technical University of Munich. Throughout his studies, he worked with various companies in the start-up ecosystem, such as Fraunhofer Venture and SevenVentures, and also completed a semester abroad at FGV in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
