Michael Swensson is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at M31 Capital where he brings 20 years of experience building and running institutional-grade operations at the highest levels of global finance. As a former COO at Bridgewater Associates, he worked alongside the firm's CEOs to manage the world's largest hedge fund, leading strategic management and developing the internal risk governance framework that underpins Bridgewater's investment process. Prior to Bridgewater, Michael held senior positions at Goldman Sachs and AllianceBernstein. He was appointed Co-Chair of SIFMA, where he worked to identify and prevent systemic risk across the global financial industry. At M31 Capital, Michael ensures the infrastructure supporting the firm's investment process meets the standards of the world's most demanding institutional investors.
