After more than four decades of investment and business development in the biotechnology industry, Pablo has developed many cutting-edge medical technologies, such as the hepatitis B vaccine. He was a co-founder of Chiron Corporation in 1982, one of the industry's pioneers in genetic engineering. In 2005, his company was acquired by Novartis for $8.9 billion.
