Peng is the founder of Novatio Ventures and an entrepreneurially minded investor with deal origination, financing, operations, legal, IP, and fund management expertise developed at leading firms. Peng is currently the CEO of Conscience, a Canadian non-profit focused on enabling drug discovery and development where market solutions are limited. He is also a board member of two Novatio portfolio companies: 3io Therapeutics and Precision Proteomics. Previously, Peng was Managing Director and Partner at CBC Group and LYFE Capital, two global healthcare private equity firms. Prior to founding Novatio, Peng was Vice President, Business Development at DRI Capital, a leading healthcare royalty investment firm, Director and a member of the senior management team of Amgen Canada, and Director of Legal Affairs at Teva. Peng began his career as an attorney at Gilbertʼs LLP, a biopharmaceutical focused boutique law firm, and then at Torys LLP, as a member of its life sciences and intellectual prope
