Philipp co-leads Capital 49's investment strategy, focusing on AI infrastructure and applications. Prior to Capital 49, he was a Partner at 468 Capital, where he invested in companies including Poetiq AI, Entangl, Sygaldry, and Brev (acq. by NVIDIA), and a VP at Sapphire Ventures, where his investments included Braze (IPO), Segment (acq. by Twilio), and DataRobot. Philipp began his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, holds a degree from Rice University, and is a member of Kauffman Fellows Class 28.
