Pieter is a Partner at Newion, where he focuses on backing ambitious founders building category-defining tech companies. Before, he spent over a decade at Prime Ventures, where he supported the growth of several successful businesses including Recharge, iwoca, and TerraPay. Earlier in his career, Pieter worked at a London-based family office active in private equity and venture capital, and founded his own mobile app company—an experience that shaped his perspective on entrepreneurship and risk-taking. Pieter holds Master’s in Tax Law from Utrecht University and in International Business from London Metropolitan University.
