Piotr Bukanski

Prior to AV, Piotr was an Investment Manager at Beringea, a generalist venture capital fund with ~$800m in AUM and offices in London and the US, focused on Series A/B investments. While at Beringea, Piotr launched a Central and Eastern European (CEE) diaspora network in London, connecting 200+ VCs and founders. Before joining Beringea, Piotr helped build the Private Capital Markets team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, supporting growth-stage companies with fundraising. He began his career in the EMEA Consumer & Retail Investment Banking Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London, where he advised on number of M&A, Equity and Debt transactions worth over $25bn. Piotr has lived in the UK, Sweden, Germany, Latvia, and Poland. He holds an MSc in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, with a semester at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from the Cracow University of Economics.
