Pooja is a Venture Partner at CBIV and has worked in health and life sciences for over 20 years across venture capital, entrepreneurship, management consulting and health policy, and is a practising medical doctor. She’s a former Partner in one of Europe’s largest VC funds, Octopus Ventures, prior to that led the healthcare corporate venture portfolio for EY, UK, and has invested over $60m capital in early-stage companies across her VC roles. She has founded and successfully exited a UK-based healthcare service business and developed the clinical and digital health strategy for her family’s healthcare chain in India. She holds a number of advisor roles working with UK health systems to adopt health technologies, directly with start ups and VCs in Europe, including KHP Ventures and the National Association of Primary Care.
