Preston Hayes

Prior to Sunstone, Preston was a co-founder of Penn Hill Capital and formerly a Principal in the Private Equity Group at Ares Management Corporation. Preston has over 15 years of experience structuring deals across a variety of investment types, including leveraged buyouts, greenfield project development, shared control growth equity, and distressed balance sheet recapitalizations & restructurings. Prior to Ares, Preston was an investment banker at Jefferies in the leverage finance and restructuring groups. Preston holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the Wallace E Carroll School of Management at Boston College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Honors Program.
