Rema Subramanian

About

Rema co-founded Ankur Capital in 2013 and leads firm strategy, fundraising, portfolio construction, and investments across AI, digital infrastructure, agritech, and emerging technologies. She has spent over a decade building one of India's leading early-stage venture platforms focused on deep science and technology-led businesses. Previously, she founded and scaled multiple technology ventures, including Alpha Share Services, a fintech infrastructure company that achieved 100x growth before a successful exit, and held leadership roles across Raymond, Ion Exchange, Datamatics, Zee, and ElementK. Rema holds qualifications in Cost & Works Accountancy (ICWA), Systems Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Poddar College, University of Mumbai. Outside work, she enjoys travelling, gardening, and arts and crafts.
