Rick Tsai serves as a Venture Partner at Axil Capital. Leveraging his clinical development expertise and industry network, he handles technical due diligence and provides strategic advisory to portfolio companies. He also previously served as CEO of LUCA Science, an Axil Capital portfolio company. Following his career as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Columbia University Hospital, he held key leadership roles including Clinical Development at Banyu Pharmaceutical, Executive Officer of Medical Affairs at MSD, and Medical Director at Allergan. He holds a DMD from Harvard University and an MD from Columbia University.
