Riley is an investor with Harpoon based in San Diego where he helps source, diligence, and support founders in the portfolio from companies in the pre-seed through growth stages. Riley has co-led investments into General Galactic, MatX, Aalo Atomics, Electroflow, and two stealth companies in the advanced defense manufacturing space. Prior to Harpoon, Riley was an investor at Marlin Equity Partners, a private equity firm with $9B assets under management, focused on software, healthcare, and industrial technology.
