About
Robert is a chartered accountant who qualified at KPMG in audit. Following his time in audit, he tried his luck as a poker professional, playing some of the largest cash games in Europe. He then moved to BDO, where he spent 6 years in their corporate finance team, primarily working on transactions in the gambling sector. Robert completed a secondment at Caesars Entertainment EMEA, heading the FP&A function. At Velo, Robert is focussed on engaging and executing new business opportunities, and supporting existing portfolio companies. Robert received a First Class Honours degree from the University of Bristol in Accounting and Management.
