Ruth Deneke

About

Ruth has more than 10 years of experience in the healthcare and life sciences sectors, spanning scientific, sales and marketing, business development, and supply chain functions. Her experience covers areas including diabetes, anemia, maternal and child nutrition, vaccines, and pharmaceutical applications. At Merck, she worked in technical product management and global marketing within the Life Science business. She currently serves as Partner – East Africa at CHS Advisory, where she works on healthcare-related business development and partnerships across the region. She holds a degree in Pharmacy from Addis Ababa University and has participated in international leadership programs including the AfrikaKommt! Fellowship and the U.S. Department of State’s Mandela Washington Fellowship. She is also actively engaged in social impact and leadership development initiatives, including as a STEP 2.0 Coach and through Rotary International.
