About

After graduating from the Faculty of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University, joined JAFCO and was in charge of what is now GMO Internet Group, Inc. Was stationed at the local subsidiary in Silicon Valley in the US. After the listing of GMO Internet Group, in 1999 founded Payment One Inc., a card payment processing service company, and became Representative Director. Merged management with Card Commerce Service Inc. and changed the company name to GMO Payment Gateway, Inc., which listed on Mothers in 2005 and then on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Currently Director and Executive Vice President. In 2005, established GMO VenturePartners Inc. and became General Partner.
