Scott is a rare mix of Wall Street rigor and Main Street hustle, but a hundred percent entrepreneur. After college Scott ran his own company for two years before moving on to enhance his skills. Post business school he spent seven years in high yield and distressed credit at a major investment bank in New York before shifting into investing and operational roles. During that time he managed major investments and ran several companies before he built and exited a successful industrial technology company. His experience spans public markets, private capital, and hands-on operating leadership — and it shows in the way he approaches every deal. At Soul Street, Scott leads the firm’s private equity strategy through Soul Street Group, where he focuses on acquiring small, cash-flowing businesses with long-term potential.
