Shaun McCabe is an executive manager with 28 years of domestic and international expertise in the energy sector, with specific expertise in project management, high-hazard operations, risk identification/mitigation, regulatory and legal affairs, and technology commercialization. Shaun has led the oversight, review and operations of high hazard facilities, the development of complex greenfield projects encompassing significant technical, financial, legal and political challenges that include development of “first-of-a-kind” rules with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Department of Energy, the Federal Railroad Administration and various state’s Department of Environmental Quality (including oil & gas operations-related). He has held the role of president, general counsel, and executive vice president, reporting to both public and private board of directors, and has been responsible for capital budgets/projects of over $10B.
