Shekar brings over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, with deep expertise in credit underwriting, project finance, corporate lending, and corporate finance. Prior to joining Iron Pillar, Shekar served as a Credit Underwriter for mid-corporate clients at Axis Bank, where he managed a portfolio of ₹12,000 crores spanning multiple sectors. Previously he was in the Project Finance team at ICICI Bank, responsible for addressing the financing requirements of large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly within the power sector. Before his tenure at ICICI Bank, Shekar worked with GMR Energy Limited as a Finance Controlle.
