Sheldon “Shelly” Stein is the former President of Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, the largest distributor of wine and spirits in the US, and the CEO of Glazer’s Beer and Beverage, the third largest Miller Coors distributor. Mr. Stein was previously the President and CEO of Glazer’s, Inc. where he led the company in its corporate turnaround and successfully merged the company with Southern Wine & Spirits. Prior to his work at Glazer’s, Mr. Stein was a Vice Chairman and head of Southwest Investment Banking for Bank of America, Merrill Lynch. Before that, Mr. Stein ran Bear Stearns’ Southwest Investment Banking Group and was a member of Bear Stearns’ President Advisory Council. Mr. Stein is also a former partner at the Dallas law firm Hughes & Luce, where he specialized in corporate finance, mergers, and acquisitions.
