About
Steve Hochberg has been a founder, manager, and investor in HealthTech and Healthcare companies for over thirty years. The first company he co-founded in the early '90s was Physicians' Online. Since then, he founded or co-founded more than thirty additional companies. From 2013-2022, Steve was a Partner at Deerfield Management, where he focused on structured transactions across seed, growth, and late stage investments in MedTech, HealthTech, and Services. In 2006, Steve became a founding Board Member of SLR Capital, an $12B family of BDCs. In 2011, Steve became Chairman of Continuum Health Partners and led its merger with Mount Sinai in 2013, where he is now Vice Chairman of the Mount Sinai Health System, a non-profit with over $12B in annual revenues. Steve holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
