Steven Venino

Steven is a General Partner at Strobe. He began investing in crypto in 2017 and then in a professional capacity in 2019. Previously, he was a Partner at BlockTower Venture Capital and prior to that he was part of the original team at 10T Fund. 10T was the industry’s first dedicated digital assets growth equity fund, and there Steven led the firm’s investments in the industry’s premier hardware security company, Ledger; in the leading institutional staking business, Figment; and in 2021’s sole surviving CeFi lender, Ledn, among others. He began his career on the equities trading floor at Morgan Stanley before going on to help manage a long/short equities and derivatives hedge fund at Point72. Steven has Bachelors degrees in Economics and in Psychology from Boston College, and is a CFA charterholder.
