About
Tom joined Celtic House in 1996 as a founding partner and has since worked with a range of start-ups across networking, computing, storage, RF, and now SaaS—generating several billion dollars in exit value. He currently serves on the boards of Auvik (cloud-based IT Ops), Raven AI (manufacturing SaaS), and Enzuzo (consent management SaaS). Tom co-developed the foundational IP for metro-optical networking, with academic work that continues to be widely cited. He studied AI under Nobel Laureate Geoff Hinton during graduate studies at the University of Toronto, where he earned a PhD in Aerospace Engineering. He later conducted postdoctoral research at MIT.
