About
Tony Ling was formerly a Managing Director at Silver Lake Partners, a private equity firm focused on investments in the technology, tech-enabled, and related growth industries. While at Silver Lake, Tony led investments across a range of technology sectors including internet, semiconductor and hardware-related companies. Previous boards include GoDaddy (NASDAQ: GDDY) and IPC Systems. After Silver Lake, Tony co-founded IQ License, a marketplace connecting brands with licensed manufacturers, where he served as COO and CFO. IQ License customers included global brands across fashion, sports, and entertainment such as Christian Siriano, Chinese Laundry, Remington, and Alessandra Ambrosio. Tony has been an active angel investor throughout his career and enjoys supporting startups in the technology and health tech sectors. Tony received his BA in economics from Harvard University (1996) and MBA from Harvard Business School (2002).
