Varad Mohod

About

Varad is an engineer by training and began his career building software for a robotics venture rooted in his research on machine learning for physical systems. He went on to work across early-stage startups, moving from technical roles into product and strategy. Prior to joining Zacua, Varad worked at a New York-based family office specializing in the Built World and later at Plug and Play, where he supported early-stage investing across physical industries and deep tech sectors. He brings a technical and operator-oriented perspective to venture and is particularly interested in emerging/frontier technologies shaping the physical world. Varad holds a Master’s degree from Northeastern University.
