Worked for 17 years at Rockwell Semiconductor (now Conexant). During that time, served as the executive in charge of the company's PC division and wireless division, responsible for a $1.4 billion business, and also served as President of Rockwell Japan, living in Japan for three years. After leaving the company, became CEO of StratumOne, a telecommunications technology venture. Sold the company to Cisco Systems for $440 million. With this acquisition, became Vice President for service provider equipment at Cisco Systems, overseeing a $2.1 billion business. Joined GCP as a General Partner in 2000.
