Yaron Carni

Prior to starting Maverick Israel, Yaron founded the Tel Aviv Angel Group and was personally involved in the business development of all its portfolio companies, as well as five exits from the portfolio. One of his most notable successes was when he was responsible for Google's first acquisition in Israel - LabPixies. Before that, Yaron was the Head of Business Development of GC Marketing Services in New York until it was sold. He co-founded Safer Social, which became Perimeter 81 and was sold to Checkpoint (NASDAQ: CHKP) for approx. half a billion dollars. He is a graduate of the Sam Zell Entrepreneurship Program and holds a Masters Degree in Law with a concentration in Intellectual Property.
