With over 15 years of experience in venture investment and incubation, Yasu has an impressive track record. He has successfully managed a portfolio of 10 high-tech ventures, including an IPO and 4 M&A deals. Formerly the Deputy General Manager of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Venture Capital, Yasu brings strong leadership and organizational development skills to his role as an investor. He has also served as a board director for multiple early-stage companies and has a solid network within Australia’s innovation ecosystem, including partnerships with Austrade, local VC’s, and government schemes like ‘Accelerating Commercialisation’.
