About
Yoshi joined Axil in April 2023, bringing over 20 years of experience in R&D and Business Development roles at global pharmaceutical companies. Prior to joining Axil, Yoshi was a Director of Search & Evaluation, Japan & Asia in the Business Development Department of Bristol-Myers Squibb. Prior to his tenure at BMS, Yoshi had assumed various B.D. and R&D positions at, Kyowa Hakko Kirin (currently Kyowa Kirin) and Kirin Brewery. Yoshi received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Kyushu University and subsequently was a post-doctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Biophysics in Frankfurt, Germany and then a visiting research scientist at AIST, and Visiting Associate Professor at Hokkaido University and Chiba University. He has also published scientific articles in various peer reviewed journals over his career.
