About
has developed the Tango Belt, the first smart belt which deploys wearable airbags in the event of a fall. The belt detects a fall in progress with great accuracy and deploys airbags over the hips to attenuate the impact of the fall. Beyond hip protection, the belt promotes safe mobility to help older adults remain/regain confidence and independence.
