Anaxsys Technology, which is based at Keele University in Staffordshire, is a medical technology company developing a suite of devices which allow the diagnosis and monitoring of a variety of respiratory diseases by analysing the humidity profile of human breath. With long term potential to screen for lung cancer and monitoring the treatment of asthma, its first product will be a respiratory rate monitor for use in the care of patients recovering from operations.
