Ballwave's core technology, the "Ball SAW sensor", is an innovative chemical sensing technology that achieves small size, high speed and high sensitivity. By forming a different sensitive film on the surface of a tiny quartz sphere (ball) depending on the measurement target, it enables measurement of a variety of gases, including trace moisture, hydrogen, natural gas and organic mixed gases. In addition to the high-temperature and high-pressure resistance of the quartz sphere, it offers about 100 times higher sensitivity and fast response compared with conventional technologies, expanding its potential as an entirely new kind of sensor system.
