Better Booch was born from a love story and a mission. Founders Trey and Ashleigh Lockerbie met as touring musicians – Ashleigh spent four years on the road with Rihanna, while Trey toured with Lady A, Lenka, and other Nashville artists. After years of the demanding touring lifestyle, they craved something more balanced and health-focused. When Trey's sister Brittany was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 24, they started brewing kombucha with and for her, but quickly realized that existing recipes relied heavily on fruit juices and sugar to taste good. By building flavors from organic teas, botanicals, and herbs instead, they created kombucha that was both incredibly low in sugar and genuinely delicious. What started at LA farmer's markets has grown into a thriving operation at their beautiful Ventura brewery, built on the belief that everyone deserves a drink that's as good for you as it tastes.
