About
Biomimetic is a spin-off company from the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) at the Foundation of Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH). The company has expertise in technologies that mimic the structures and functionalities of species found in nature, following many years of research at the Ultrafast Laser Micro and Nano Processing Laboratory of IESL. Our aim is to transform common materials such as glass and metals to provide optimal combinations of anti-reflective, anti-glare, anti-fogging, water-repellent, and other advanced properties.
