About
Commercial before criticality: NRC construction permits for Hermes 1 and 2, a power purchase agreement with TVA, and a 500 MW fleet agreement with Google, all in hand before the first fluoride salt-cooled unit runs. The method is iterative: three generations of full-scale non-nuclear test units ahead of the nuclear build. Hermes 2 broke ground in Oak Ridge in April 2026; first power 2030.
