About

Here, you'll find a community that opens its doors and hearts to all—whether you're just beginning your journey or continuing along a well-worn path. Through our offerings, we care for the most vulnerable among us, educate others to do the same, and connect through the deeply human practice of living wide awake.‍Rooted in the wisdom of Zen and inspired by the intimate neighborhood temples of Japan, our center is a sanctuary in the vibrant heart of New York City. We are a diverse tapestry of seekers, healers, and learners, united by a shared commitment love wholeheartedly and serve with compassion.‍This is more than a place of meditation—it’s a home where connection, learning, and service come alive. We're thrilled that you're visiting.‍With gratitude,‍Koshin Paley Ellison Sensei & Chodo Robert Campbell SenseiFounders and Guiding Teachers‍
